Computer education centre, Ludhiana
NAB centre for Computer Education and Rehabilitation is functional from January 2012 for the visually challenged in Govt Institute for the blind at Jamalpur, Ludhiana. The Centre has been equipped with Computers and special software for teaching computers to the visually challenged. Specially trained teacher is provided for the purpose. No fee is being charged and all facilities are for free. 70 visually challenged from Punjab and the Blind School itself are learning computers at the centre.
We are already running two such computer centres at Vocational Training Centre for the differently able, Sector 46 D and Karuna Sadan, sector 11 B, Chandigarh.
