National Association for the Blind (NAB), Chandigarh & Punjab, successfully organized a 3-Day Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) Program on “Early Identification Interventions and Innovative Teaching Techniques in Special Education” at the NAB Institute for the Blind, Chandpur, District S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali, Punjab.
The program from 13th November 2025 to 15 November 2025 which empowered special educators with cutting-edge strategies to identify and address disabilities at an early stage, ensuring timely interventions. Experts delivered insightful lectures and hands-on training on innovative teaching techniques, enabling participants to create inclusive and engaging learning environments.
100 RCI-registered special educators from Chandigarh and all adjoining States attended the program, gaining practical skills to support children with special needs.

Conducts 3-Day RCI-Approved CRE Program on Assistive Technology, AI & STEM Education for Persons with DisabilitiesMohali, 5th June 2025 – National Association for the Blind (NAB), Chandigarh & Punjab, successfully organized a 3-Day Local Level Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) Program on topic “Empowering RCI Professionals through Assistive Technology, AI, and STEM Education for Persons with Disabilities.” from 3rd June to 5th June 2025 at the NAB Institute for the Blind, Chandpur, District S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali, Punjab. The program was duly approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi.
The initiative aimed to enhance the knowledge and competencies of rehabilitation professionals in the rapidly evolving domains of inclusive technology and modern educational methodologies. Over the three days, experts from various fields conducted interactive sessions.
The program witnessed active participation from RCI-registered professionals including special educators. Engaging lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on learning opportunities provided participants with practical skills to apply these tools in real-world rehabilitation settings.
As part of the closing day and to commemorate World Environment Day (5th June 2025), NAB also organized a Tree Plantation Drive on the institute premises where saplings were planted by trainees, professionals, and staff members.
