NAB, Chandigarh and Punjab branch is the first NGO in disability sector to have been awarded a letter of intent (LOI) by Ministry of Information and broadcasting to start its own community radio station at 2 rooms allotted to us at Institute for the blind, Ludhiana. This will cater to educational needs of all students as course books of all classes will be taught thro the medium of radio to all the visually challenged and others in Punjab. This should be operational in about few months time and the benefit of all the recorded programs will be available to the institute.
